Blog & Contact Info

If you’re interested in what’s going on in my life or my writing process, feel free to check out my blog.  I’ve got some great links to writing resources and friends.  Plus, I love meeting and networking with other writers and readers. And I’m funny. Sometimes.

I’m also on twitter, at www.twitter.com/kierstenwhite, and facebook at www.facebook.com/kierstenwhite.

If you want to send me something (such as bookplates to sign and send back) you can send it to:

Kiersten White
c/o HarperCollins Children’s Books
10 E 53rd Street
New York, NY 10022

It’ll take a couple of months, but they do send everything to me and that is the only way to send something physical to me because I don’t give out my address and am allergic to the Post Office, rendering me incapable of renting a PO Box. Please include a self-addressed stamped envelope.

My agent, the fabulous Michelle Wolfson, can be reached using the information on her website.  All rights inquiries (foreign translations, film and television rights, etc) can go through her.

Librarians and event organizers: I love doing visits and book events! Since I have two young children, my availability depends on the timing, and I charge a small honorarium and cost of travel. I do skype chats, which are awesome, and for which I also charge a small honorarium. If you are interested in booking me, please email.

If you are a writer, I would very kindly ask that you please don’t write me asking for personal writing and publishing advice. I don’t know you or your writing, so it’s hard for me to be helpful and takes up a lot of my time. If you want to know my thoughts and opinions on writing, please feel free to peruse my blog, especially under the search term or label of “writing.” I try to be helpful on my blog so that anyone who wants to can access it, rather than pouring a lot of time and attention into emails that will only benefit one person.

I do read every email that I get, but I am months and months behind on responses and it’s not going to improve any time soon. Please know how much I love and appreciate my readers (especially my teen fans), though! It means the world to me that you connected with my writing in some way.
